SSSTikTok.me ("we", "us", "the Service") is an independent website operated from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Service, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have.

We have written this policy to describe what the Service actually does. You do not need an account, and we never ask you for your name, address, or payment details.

Information we collect

Information you give us. The TikTok link you paste into the download box. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record technical data on each request: your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, language preference, and the date and time of the request.

What we never collect. We do not ask for or store names, postal addresses, phone numbers, or payment information. There is no registration and no user account, so there is no profile tied to you. We do not scan or store the content of the videos you download.

How we use this information

• To process your request. The link you submit is sent to the video sources we rely on so we can return a download to you.
• To prevent abuse. Your IP address is used for rate limiting so that automated scripts cannot overload the Service for everyone else.
• To keep the Service working. Technical logs help us find broken downloads, slow regions, and errors.
• To reply to you. If you email us, we use your message only to answer you.

Cookies and advertising

We do not set login or session cookies for visitors, because the Service has no accounts. However, we use two third-party services that do set cookies, and we want to be clear about them.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they use, and where problems occur. This tells us about traffic patterns, not about you personally.

Advertising. The Service is free to use and is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. This means:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, advertising partners are required to obtain your consent before using cookies for personalised advertising, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the links above or by clearing cookies in your browser.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The download tool itself will keep working if you do.

How long we keep data

We keep as little as possible, for as short a time as possible:

• Downloaded files are not archived. Video, audio, and image files are streamed to you or held in a temporary folder that is automatically deleted within minutes.
• Link and media details returned by our sources are cached for up to 5 hours so that repeat requests are faster and place less load on the source.
• Basic link information — whether a link is a video or a photo slideshow, and where a shortened link points — is cached for up to 30 days. This information does not identify you.
• Server logs, which include IP addresses, are kept for troubleshooting and abuse prevention and are cleared on a rolling basis.
• Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We rely on a small number of service providers that necessarily process technical data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — content delivery, security, and protection against attacks.
• Google — analytics and advertising, as described above.
• Our hosting provider — running the servers.
• Video source services — the link you submit is passed to them so the download can be produced.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing [email protected].

In practice, because we hold no accounts and no profiles, in most cases we will only be able to confirm that we have nothing stored that identifies you. To locate a server log entry we would need the approximate date, time, and IP address of your visit.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All traffic to and from the Service is encrypted with TLS, and we keep our software up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but because we hold so little data, there is very little about you that could be exposed.

Relationship with TikTok

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to TikTok or ByteDance. When you use the Service, TikTok's own terms and privacy practices continue to apply to the content you access. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to download and use any video you save.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes or as the law requires. The date at the top of this page always shows the most recent version. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
